Now that we've finished talking about dampers, let's talk about camber angles today!
I mean ...
If you write at this pace, the last round will be ... summer? Lol
Well, let's leave it and let's go straight ♪
①P tile ※ Today
② Asphalt, carpet * I will explain in order of tomorrow

ReveD Takahiro explain from around 15 minutes 50 seconds on Team ReveD YouTube Video
① P tile
Before explaining the P tile, let's first introduce the tires (^^ ♪

Based on TOP LINE's sports edition

This tire has a slight round

It looks like this when illustrated
Since the P tile basically wants to be grounded to the road surface, adjust the camber to increase the grounding surface.

First of all, if the tire is flat, of course, 0 ° is the widest contact surface for the camber, but if you set the camber to 0 ° with the tires that are rounding, you will only contact the ground at points like this.If you do so, the grip power will decrease.

Next, when the camber is about 4 °, the contact area has become wider like this, right?
This will increase the grip.
The reason why it is 4 ° is that it is about 4 ° for a new Spoedi, but the ground contact surface is wide, so I wrote 4 ° this time!
* Of course, the camber angle changes depending on the tire shape used!
When the tires get used to
The size of the contact surface does not change that much until about 2 to 7 °
However, among them, there are the following differences in characteristics.

The white tile course doesn't grip sideways anyway, so it's recommended to have a small camber angle!
Then
What about such a black tile? ? ? ?

The horizontal grip is stronger than that of the white tiles, so there is no need to reduce the camber to that level to gain the horizontal grip.
Rather than that, it is better to increase the camber a little and increase the vertical grip
However, if you feel pesky due to it, please put it back.
Also, when measuring the camber
Depending on the weight of the body and the hardness of the suspension, the vehicle height when the body is mounted will change, and the camber angle will change accordingly.

First of all, after checking the vehicle height with the body mounted Please measure the camber at the height of the vehicle. Tomorrow is the camber angle on the asphalt & carpet surface
