① Growth side (this time)

② Reduction side (next time)

I will explain in order

* The spring is removed to make it easier to see, but I will assume that it is attached and talk

① Growth side

First, the vehicle height in 1G (about 5mm this time)

I would like you to check your car here.

If the tire floats like this when lifted, the rear part will slip out when rolled.

So why does such a difference come out? ? ?

It is due to the balance between the extension stroke of the suspension arm and the damper length!

First, if the damper length is long like this

Even if you put your finger in it, the tire won't float, right?

However, the length of the damper is so short that when I try to insert my finger, the tires are floating.

Compared to this, it looks like this 💦

What should I do if the tires float?

In that case there are two ways

The first one

Lower the damper mounting position

(When using the upper hole)

The second is

Replace the rod end with a long one

Extend the damper length

so! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

If you extend the rod end

Legs stretch

When the damper bottoms out when contracted

If this happens, the damper will be stretched and the roll will be damaged.

In that case? ? ? ?

Loosen the screw on the original ball end

Please lengthen the damper length!

Then

Also the stroke on the contraction side

It is possible to secure a stroke on the extension side! !! In this way, after considering the contraction side as well If you can secure the extension stroke, even with the same damper It is possible to finish it with a solid suspension! We will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so the next contraction stroke will be up next Monday.
